    Violinfiddlerist based in traditional, unceded Ramaytush Ohlone Lands aka San Francisco, California. Available for performing a multitude of styles in a variety of settings. Eva’s background includes performing and studying traditional musics in New Orleans, Eastern Europe, Turkey, and China. Eva has enjoyed playing with tango dancers, jazz and rock bands, and classical ensembles, with notable maestros such as fiddler Marc O’Connor and violinist Nadja Solerno-Sonnenburg. Eva steeps themself into the natural rhythms of California's wilderness and especially digs translating these soundscapes into loose, improvisational compositions for extended range electric violins and looper. Inspirations include Regina Carter, Stéphane Grappelli, Joe Kennedy Jr., Mireille Proulx, Andrew Bird, Jean Luc Ponty, the Pacific Ocean, etc...

     

    Eva also loves to work as a board certified music therapist with various clinical populations around the Bay, supporting clients' wellness and growth through music with a compassionate, collaborative style. They are currently pursuing advanced coursework in music therapy and social justice as well as the LPCC credential.
